Maybe deep down Star Empire know that, and this is why Dongjun is being loaned out.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry as I write this, but meet the very next star, and lead role, of Aladdin the musical. I know Bunny and I always talk of Dongjun as a prime rags-to-riches case - our most adored "sports science" candidate no less. But I am pretty sure that I can speak for the pair of us when I say that this is not the kind of narrative that either of us had in mind. I'm so worried that ZE:A are going to descend in only being a laughing stock of the K-world, and this I do not want. Or worse, have members swapped out! Though they can take Taeheon and Kevin, and Kwanghee, though that may be a little risky as I fear it may he him who actually makes any of the little money they actually have.I don't know, what will they think of next!

I tried to watch the teaser again but i couldn't go through with it, I never thought the day would come that Siwan with CURLS in his hair and an all in one ensemble wouldn't be a sign of impending great joy. instead I actually want to tell him to shut up. shy gentle precious Siwan, STOP SINGING THAT HORRIBLE SONG.
I am so afraid of what another 3 minutes will do to me.
As for Sports Science, first I scoffed, but that was at Aladdin the Musical as a concept, is it Disney Aladdin? or just regular Aladdin, with random songs? will they write Mazeltov into it??.
I think he'll actually be brilliant and lets face facts, k-idols in musicals has never been a bad thing, either no one cares, it slips by unnoticed for a few months and hes late to a dream team filming because of rehersals... or its actually a huge success, he get know for his musical theatre skills and get to add another string to their frankly pathetic looking bow.

oh god, i was just hit with a sudden very vivid memory, ZE:A in the japanese fantasy action film, do you remember??? was that all a dream? I really dont know anymore. WHAT WILL BECOME OF THEM?!
ps. Is it so wrong that i'd rather see Dongjoonie as Princess Jasmine? and then he could do some cool acrobat trick in the middle of A Whole New World.
I'm interested to hear how you felt about the live? I know that we discussed the video already, and are pretty much over the whole song issue. I really do like it now - it will be going on the k-pod tonight.

See my comment above for my thoughts on the live and repeated viewing of the video. Its going on my kpop but then i put everything on there, and ill probably love it in a months time, I was sure loving listening to "I'll Be Back" whilst i was doing the gardening this morning, almost rapped Nickhun's part at the young postman.

I have to admit, I loved the song right off. My only major gripe for the video is the major lack of Heecheul. This video needs a dose of sneer, STAT! Bless his heart, Minwoo is wearing knee-length shorts, a button-down shirt with a cardigan over, a mis-matched bowtie and a pencil thin belt, all tied up with a ponytail? It's so horrible and wonderful all at once. I want to fire the stylist Nunas for taking away his short sleeved tanktop/shirtless blazer, but I do sort of live for that one shot of him with glasses. *heart flutters*

So glad that I am not to only one who legitimately loves the song (such a turn around, flippant nuna that I am). I listen to it way too many times a day.
Totally agreeing with the lack of Heechul - why the hell would you leave him out? TRUST OPPA! He is so important! In fact, I showed Mazletov to a non-K fan, and she loved it, selecting 'the one with the fierce cheekbones' as her favourite. Needless to say she did not repeat this at the Here I Am video.
Must admit the glasses are a very happy addition, the ponytail less so! Let's hope they release a second single complete with video...with lots more Heechul, and maybe Dongjun with a fringe.

Boy OH BOY did that video have appropriate amounts of sneer! And why was it so entertaining to watch the prince fiddle around with the TV? I dunno, but it was. And yes, if there was any damage done from the MV, it would surely have been repaired by that adorableness. Minwoo... he's one that just can't do wrong by me, even when the stylist nunas are sabotaging him with ridiculous outfits and bad hair. My favorite Minwoo time (aside from the crying, which was a major turning point in my feelings for him [and here I am referring to the Idol League incident, not the wingcar incident, although let's be honest, that one helped too]) is the popsicle that he licks all over and then gives to KwangHee... THAT I could watch all day (after editing out the KwangHee parts, of course)
I will be keeping my fingers crossed for an 'Again...' or 'Be My Girl' video with added sneer to make up for lost time (and hopefully the stylist nunas will give Minwoo his tank top/sleeveless shirt/blazer with nothing underneath it back!). And Bunny, while I've got my fingers crossed, I'll send out an extra wish for the Dongjun fringe you so long for. :)
what was the crying incident on idol league??? I feel missed something crucial here. I'll be honest and tell you the Minwoo was not one of my original picks and therefore I have these holes in my research where the time was spent on Siwan, Heechul, Dongjun... Hyungsik... there was a lot of research to do... However I am familiar with the wingcar tears and the infamous popsicle clip....!
I don't want to burst your bubble here but remember you're dealing with Star Empire, I don't think they can afford a second video, or else it'll be to the wingcar days for the lot of them, sorry.

*faints* Solo cams are... exquisite. I admit my favorites are Minwoo, 'Cheul and Kevin, Hyungshik is always a winner. I wish they would just give us all the footage instead of interspersing the two different shots. I don't believe ANY 'Cheul solo shots show up in the MV, or if they do, are for miniscule amounts of time, hardly enough to satisfy sneer quota. Minwoo in those glasses.......
The Idol League crying incident was in one of the later episodes where ZE:A is having a food contest with themselves. I watched it without subtitles, so I might be guessing at a few things, but Minwoo apparently makes some comment about Moon Hee Jun being old and/or fat and/or over it. The camera then shows the two hosts in the back talking and slightly upset but then giggling and then we arrive back on the set where Moon Hee Jun gives Minwoo a bit of a dressing-down (*ahem*... yells at him), so Minwoo proceeds to cry, the hosts laugh, everyone makes up, no damage done, and that goes down in history as the moment I changed my opinion on our quiet, wonderful, gorgeous dancer...
Bunny, you bring up a good point. Star Empire probably isn't going to fulfill any dreams of further videos. Instead, I will hope for some sort of video offering to make up for it (paper game! or group dances to any girl song... or that practice room video with the Hyungshik, Kevin, Whitey [*ahem* TaeHeon] boypile..., or really anything they're willing to film and put on youtube, I'll watch it all!)
On a somewhat sidenote: I often find that my original picks aren't always the ones I stick with. Minwoo definitely wasn't my first choice. I find that I appreciate them more when they aren't someone I love right off, because then they have to work for my love, and oh boy, do I love it when they do.

I'm going to be on a hunt for some later Idol League episodes, I think I ended up watching the paper ripping game episode over and over forgetting there were actually more episodes to follow. Still, time well spent.
